Maybe !
I do not think so that such a decision can ever be made by a big director like S.S.Rajmouli. If it was a fake news, i want to say that I really hate the fake news being spread by the means of social media and everyone admits it. It is the biggest problem with social networks.
The attitude of Prabhas is unmatchable with actors like hritik or john. They are both kind of body builded actors but not a kind of a king-like attitude as needed in the film. After watching movie Raam Leela and Baajirao Mastani, I think that no actor from Bollywood exept Ranveer Singh can suit in this role.

So, if this news was fake, its okay.
And if real, then Rajmouli had made a great decision of choosing Prabhas for the role of Baahubali.

Of course ‘NOT’. I personally loved the story of both movies. But, Aamir really deserves an extra thumbs up for Dangal. He once again proved that he is  Mr. Perfectionist. For that, let's look at the reality of both the actings. The Salman’s acting was having an essence of duplicacy in it, like he was not having any difficulty in fighting with any opponent of any weight. Not even his hairs get messed up in whole movie and I did not seen any remarkable sweat on his body. Whereas in Dangal, even the first fight at office also seem very realistic. And in whole movie too, aamir’s expressions and acts were so realistic that we can even relate them with our lives. So, the Aamir’s acting is unmatchable. He provide a life to any act he do.
